Pulling from our experience with deploying hundreds of e-learning courses, we’ve designed a checklist that that helps us ensure that everything just works.

Using this list, we meticulously check that all settings are correct.

​

• We check all individual setting for every page of the course.

• All settings for the framework of the course are checked.

• LMS settings are checked and verified.

• Navigation is checked extensively to prevent any bugs.

• All interactivity coding is tested, so that we can assure that they only function in the way that we intend for them to function.

Using this method, we prepare courses for publishing on Learning Management Systems (LMS) and it ensures a smooth launch.

Prior to going live, we share a final checklist for internal testing in the LMS environment. This checks that everything behaves the same way inside of the LMS system.

We package courses depending on what features the LMS support. Premiere systems can support Cmi5, which is a great package. Cmi5 can track on key user behavior that is used to optimize and verify user behavior, along with tracking quiz results and course completion. Older systems use SCORM, a package that can track users completing quizzes and completing the course.
